Governance - responsible business conduct

Protection of human and labor rights

LTP Group recognizes the importance of maintaining and promoting fundamental human rights in our operations and value chain, and we are committed to respecting the rights of workers throughout our value chain. We respect employees’ right to freedom of association and we respect the right to collective bargaining. We neither favor nor discriminate against members of employee organizations or trade unions. In LTP Group employment is freely chosen, our employees have legally binding employment contracts and we do not allow any form of child labor, prison labor, forced labor or compulsory labor. Child labor refers to employees under the age of 15 or, in those countries subject to the developing country exception of the ILO Convention 138, employees under the age of 14. Our commitment to ensuring fair and equitable wages, benefits and other conditions of employment in accordance with local laws includes the following. Our employees are paid regular wages and overtime compensation, and we comply with rules on minimum wages, social security, benefits, and other relevant local laws. We do not impose or accept voluntary commitment to excessive overtime, and employees may not regularly work more than 48 hours per week at any point during consecutive 12 months. In case of exceptional overtime work, the total number of hours worked per week may not exceed 60 hours, including overtime, and employees must be entitled to at least one day off in every seven- day period.

To ensure equal opportunities and fair treatment to all employees, we have a zero- tolerance towards discrimination based on characteristics such as gender, nationality, age, educational background, ethnicity, physical impairment, race, religion, sexual orientation, or other characteristic protected by law or otherwise ethically deserving of protection. We promote a respectful and engaging work environment. We do not tolerate harassment of any kind, other offensive or disrespectful conduct. Harassment includes, and is not limited to; unwelcome verbal, visual, physical or other conduct of any kind that causes others to feel uncomfortable or creates an intimidating, offensive or hostile work environment.
