Through large part of 2022 LTP Group was challenged by the economical and geopolitical turbulence. The war in Ukraine had a significant impact on our business operations in Europe, resulting in major disruptions in especially in the garment supply chain channel. A strong wish to help the refugees in Ukraine resulted in a collaboration with Kvadrat & Hess Natur manufacturing blankets in our factories in Lithuania. In LTP Ukraine, the employees were paid salaries in advance to help them secure their livelihoods, and donations were made to Red Cross, UNICEF and UNHCR as well as donation to local humanitarian support, all to ensure continuous support for the Ukrainian colleagues. The strategy to diversify the garment production locations and exit strategy in Belarus prompted us to accelerate our expansion plans in Romania. As a result, LTP Group acquired a new in-house sewing location for the garment production, which will increase the production capacity and ensure the future supply chain.
